# How to add comments and replies to a video on mobile

Adding comments is a great way to add additional context to your video, either by you or someone else. You can also add a reply to a comment thus starting a thread.

| Long pressing on any comment or reply shows the available options for that comment or reply.

## Adding a comment

You can add a comment by tapping on the "Comment" label below the description.

You can add a reply by tapping on the "Reply" label below any comment.

## Edit a comment or reply

You can edit any comment or reply that belongs to you. You can access the menu with the edit option by long pressing on the comment or reply you want to edit.
