# How to duplicate a video on web

Sometimes you might need to create a different video based on an existing one, or just want to keep a copy of the current state of the video. You can duplicate any video in some easy steps.

1. Go to your Vormats dashboard and hover the video card

2. Click the three-dot option and select "Duplicate" on the dropdown

3. Wait the process to finish

| The new video will be a complete separate copy of the original video and you can edit it as you want without affecting the original one.

You can also duplicate a video inside any folder or on the details page:

1. Go to the selected video page

2. Click the three-dot option and select "Duplicate" on the dropdown

3. Wait for the process to finish
