How to add subtitles to your video

Adding subtitles to your videos makes it easier and more accesible for your viewer to watch your video. In addition, you reach a larger target group (e.a. people with hearing problems) who would otherwise not be able to follow your video. It's a given that 85% of Facebook video's are watched without audio. All the more important to provide your videos with subtitles. In this article, we'll explain how to add subtitles to your video.

Adding subtitles

Make sure you have recorded all your scenes first.

Select the Subtitles option.

If you can't select the Subtitles option, it means that you have a scene that doesn't have content added to it. Subtitles cannot be added until all scenes have been recorded.



Select the language you speak in the video and click on Add Subtitles.

Check the subtitles and change if necessary.

The subtitle option works very accurately, but will sometimes add incorrect grammar to names or abbreviations.

Change subtitles

Click on the pencil icon. ✏️

Change the text manually.

Click on Close to save the changes.
