How to use folders on Vormats web app

By adding videos to folders, you can keep your videos organised and accessible. Whether you're working alone or with colleagues, using folders on Vormats web app is an easy way to stay on top of your videos.

Create a folder: On the left-hand side of the screen, you'll see the "Folders" and "Team Folders" sections. Click "Folders" and select "New Folder" to create a folder for your personal use. Give it a name based on the topic, project, or any other category that works for you.

Collaborate with colleagues: To create a team folder and collaborate with colleagues, click "Team Folders" and select "New Folder". Enter the name of the folder and select the colleague(s) you want to collaborate with by typing the emails they use at Vormats. They need to have a Vormats account to collaborate. Select "View" or "Edit" to specify their level of access to the folder. Click "Create" to create the team folder.



Add videos to a folder: To add a video to a folder, go to the "Videos" section and select the video you want to move. Click the "Move to folder" icon (a folder with an arrow pointing into it) and select the folder you want to move it to. If you move it to a team folder, your colleague(s) will also have access to the video. Screenshots can help in the process.



Access a folder: To access a folder, go to the "Folders" or "Team Folders" section and select the folder you want to view. All the videos in that folder will be displayed.

Create a folder from the home page: You can also create a folder from the home page by clicking the "+" icon next to the "Folders" or "Team Folders" section.



Move videos to folders: If you want to move a video from the general "Videos" section to a folder, go to the "Videos" section and select the video you want to move. Click the "Move to folder" icon and select the folder you want to move it to. This will help you organize your videos by topic or project.
