How to record a video with the Vormats Browser extension

With Vormats Web it's easy to record your desktop screen and share the recording with others.

How to start recording

You can start recording by clicking on the Vormats Chrome extension.



Select the Recording settings that matches your needs:

Screen and myself. This records your screen and your camera.

Screen only. This records only your screen.

Myself only. This records only your camera.

Note: The option Smartphone recording shows a QR code. If you scan the QR code, it will redirect you to the App Store to download the Vormats Mobile app.



For the options Screen and myself and Screen only, you will have the option to select the screen recording area. This means you can choose between recording Full desktop or Current tab.

Under Record settings select your preferred microphone and/or camera.



Once all settings have been set correctly, you can Start recording.
