How to use Two-Factor authentication (2FA) on Web
Some companies prefer their users to log in with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This guide explains the prerequisites for using 2FA and provides a step-by-step guide on how to use 2FA in the Vormats Web App.
Prerequisites:
2FA has to be enabled for your Vormats account. If you want to make use of 2FA, please reach out to support@vormats.com
An Authenticator app, for example: Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator
Important: If you haven't logged in yet for the first time to your Vormats account, please make sure to follow the installation instructions first, which you received in your e-mail.
Log in with your Vormats credentials: e-mail address and password
After pressing log in, you will see a step-by-step guide to connect the Vormats app with your authenticator app
Open the authenticator app
Scan the QR Code you see on the web app
Copy the temporary code from the authenticator app and go back to the Vormats Web App
Fill the code field. 2FA is now successfully setup 🎉
Log in with your Vormats credentials: e-mail address and password
Open the authenticator app
Copy the temporary code
Go back to the Vormats Web App and fill the field with the code from the authenticator app
Click continue and you are logged in
