How to install the Vormats browser extension

To easily start a recording, you will need access to the Vormats Chrome extension. We have the extensions available for the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.

Visit the Chrome Web Store here.

If your organisation has disabled downloading from the Chrome Web Store, you can download the extension from the Microsoft Edge Add-Ons. The download link can be found here




Select Add to Chrome and then Add extension.

After you've installed the Chrome Web extension, you can click on the extension to log in to your account. You'll be redirected to the login page.

When recording your first video, you will be prompted to enable microphone and camera access.

Important: If you can't find the extension, it's possible that it's hidden. You can select which extensions are visible. Here's how:

For Google Chrome:

Click the puzzle icon to see all your extensions.

Search for the Vormats extension and press the pin icon. This will move your Vormats extension to your taskbar, so you can easily find it.




For Microsoft Edge:

Click the puzzle icon to see all your extensions.

Search for the Vormats extension and press the eye icon. This will move your Vormats extension to your taskbar, so you can easily find it.
